Independant American Guitar Stores
 
Evening All,

I'm travelling through to the USA in just over a weeks time, stopping off in Phoenix, Los Angeles and Las Vegas. While i'm out I want to go look round to musical instruments shops, possibly to buy another music-man bass or to buy a telecaster guitar, not sure yet.

Can anyone recommend any small independent trustworthy shops in any of the three places for me to visit? I'm not really interested in going to any major corporate chains.

You might want to mention if you are looking for new or used.
A lot of the inde shops specialize in used gear.

Too bad you won't make it up to Seattle... Emerald City Guitars is FANTASTIC. Even if you can't make it in you should check out their website:

Theres Cowtown guitars in Vegas, not sure if Ed Roman is still open. L.A. is a big town so depends where your gonna be, I know theres a great little shop down in Oceanside.
