"Indie Dancing"

Sign in to disble this ad
For all those of you who like Indie, Altern Rock and Indie Pop-Punk i would like to ask do you dance at gigs?

I am usually one of the 10 people dancing at the gigs i go to (bout 40-70 people actually standing near stage) and well i am constantly being made fun of by my metal friends. (Into metal not made of :P)

Is there some sort of particular way to dance? The way i see it indie kids dancing are just monkeys on to much cafene. Is there a limitation to what you do with your arms legs ect to be fun, be dancing but not be even more of an idiot then everyone else? Is being into indie just automatically make you a dork so it really doesn't matter?

Other dancing has its limitations, guidelines and etiquette so what is this types?

As a metalhead, I can only approve of one type of "dancing". MOSH DANCING.

yea, i love that as well. I am sort of an indie kid being taken into the realm of metal. But you must see at gigs where multiple bands are playing people indie dancing. Do they all look crazy to you?

But it is great when indie bands are moshable which is getting more and more common with heavier Altern rock coming more popular than the lighter stuff.

Indie dancing?

You mean that stupid arm swinging, jumping around side to side, ninja-kick to the back of the head to the person next to you, and then calm down for a second and pull your hat back on crap?
