Inexpensive Starter Cello

My son's going to be taking orchestra this year and has chosen to play the cello. I think we all understand the importance of buying a quality instrument, but do any of you have any experience with a cello? I want to get a decent starter cello for a good price. If you guys can point me in the right direction, I'll appreciate it a WHOLE bunch!

good luck man, from what I've seen cheap cellos are $1,000 bucks...

I will probably buy another bow from them next month when I've saved enough. Keep in mind that good quality bows are as important as the instruments. I hope your son sticks with it. I think the tone of a cello is the most gorgeous of all string instruments.
