I found some really old threads on this topic so I'd thought I'd bring it up again. Has anyone bought those inlay stickers? I found some really cool ones and was thinking of getting some. |

| | | | They have ones specifically for bass, but the slection kinda... we... sucks. The tree of life decals look cool, but that's about it.
I would try to move it to setup and repair or basses. This thread is getting a little neglected in this forum.

Like for Example, ones that are meant to cover the whole space between frets, like the "tree of life" one for guitar would probably not fit on a bass, there would be gaps. Others, like ones that were basically fancy dots, might work. Probably best just to get ones made specifically for the type of instrument you'll use them on.

It may not get as much attention, but Miscellaneous seems to be the right forum to me.

They've worn like iron, but come up without residue with not much effort.
They have a lot of options. http://stores.ebay.com/creative-cuts

Had they had the Abalone ones available when I got these I probably would have got them instead though.

These were actually only $13 shipped. It's some of the newer, nicer looking ones (like the abalone) that have gone up to $20.
6 Months and they're still like new. Plus no residue if removed.
Hope the cheaper ones perform as well. Let us know.

As you say, you get what you pay for, we'll see if his claims are true. Conversely, it's possible you overpaid for yours.

Let's see how fast Japan is.
