Instrument cable through strap

has anybody seen or heard about this? i could've sworn i saw somebody that had a guitar strap that he could thread with his instrument cable thus moving the cable to fall down behind him where he couldn't step on it...

any help would be appreciated

You can do that with any strap. Just feed the cable from behind, though the space between your body and the strap, and then plug it in to the bass.

and the slack thats left allows you to step on the cable no harm done.....and relieves the stress on the jack.......it's free ,tried and true,and i bet everyone here has done it......paying for some strap to do the same thing in a fancy way is a solution in search of a problem
