Instrument cables

This may seem like a stupid question but is there a separate instrument cable for basses and guitars? Which cables do you like to use?

Good cables are the same for both bass and guitar. Pretty much only bogus cables are labeled for bass specifically.

Yup. However, there IS a difference between cables that go from instrument to amp and cables that go from amp to speaker...two different types.
