Instrument in Hero

OK, I finally saw Hero on DVD last night. I was wondering, if anyone knows the name of that instrument that the old blind man plays during the fight between Nameless (Jet Li) and Sky (Donnie Yen). It looks sort of like a lap steel.

The instrument in question was a Guqin.
