| Interactive Guitar/Bass software?

A while back I saw a video of some guy demonstrating a new guitar/bass software thing. You would attach some plastic thing to the fretboard and the software would teach you or let you play along to your own songs (kind of like guitar hero). He was plaing on a guitar and i think a MacBook Pro. I can't find his video or remember what the software was called. Anyone have any idea what it might be?
