Good article, although does it directly relate to Behringers practice (which seems to be based on cloning current technology)?

not really...but it is pretty close in comparison...but i like behringer gear

I think one of his points is that the big mic mfrs, like Neuman, have gotten complacent and have charged more and more for the same [very good] designs they had 30 years ago. So, they're not putting $ into R&D and now the Chinese mfrs can steal market share because of that.

I thought the 3D patent stuff was interesting too.
