Intonation problems

It's kind of hard to see the bridge unless you expand it or something, but I need help on adjusting the intonation. It's not like the average bridge with which you use a screwdriver. There are two allen wrench holes on all of the saddles (excluding the action adjustments). I don't know what to do!

Can you take a closer photo?

on my six string carvin there is something similar, except on each string there is only one of the allen wrench holes, and on my bass the allen wrench one locks the screw in place, so you just loosen it and and adjust the intonation normally

but wait, your not talking about the allen wrench holes to adjust the action are you? there are usually two of those... that doesn't affect intonation very much

There are the 4 allen wrench holes altogether. Two adjust the action, and I guess the other two adjust the intonation. I messed with it a lot, and I think I know what to do. Do I loosen one, and then get tighten/loosen the other hole under the string to adjust the intonation?
