Yes, it's a Furby. A co-worker came across a pair of these maddening creatures, and upon my request, brought one in to work. As annoyingly cute as these little guys are, I thought it might be fun to incorporate their insane babbling into a future music project. I'm susre by the time I'm done with it, the Furby's voice will be utterly unrecognizeable, but I will get some measure of joy out of knowing that somebody out there is grooving to a tune composed with the help of one of the most annoying toys in history.

My girlfriend's band used modified furbys to great effect a few years ago..

I spent a day screaming pizza at a furby and it never talked back. That furby is dead now.
