ipod touch and silent bass practice

I would like to use my Ipod touch the same way I would use a tascam MP-BT1.
I could buy a small mixer, or maybe something like the ME-50B that has stereo input.
But if possible i want the set up to be small and as portable as possible.
The guitar players have this little vox thing.
Is there anything similar for bass player?

I've got the AC30 version and it works fine for my bass. I didn't know there was a bass version until after I'd gotten mine. I expect the bass version will sound even better.

I use it exactly the way you describe: ipod plugged into the aux input, headphones in the phones output. Mixes both sounds so you can practice to music without disturbing others.
