Isaac Newton Played Bass?

I forget where I heard it but some where I heard that Isaac Newton Played bass is this true and are there any other famous people (not famous bass players) that played bass?

yeah he did , remember this was jusssst before apple sauce was invented so , you had to amuse yourself .

He did... There was a thread here about famous people who played bass, and Isaac Newton was there, along with Hulk Hogan, O neil, and looots of guys.

the question is , could sir Isaac Newton have gotten as smart
as he was WITHOUT playing bass ?

Haha, of course, the secret to his intelligence was bass!

You could find the thread by searching, the prob is i dont remember which seciton it was win, bassists or miscellanous

He also died a virgin (hopefully had nothing to do with bass) but he only had a lady friend when he was around 19 and never had another girlfriend/wife the rest of his life. Kinda sad. He was religious however, he could have been celibate. but yeah I can't find any info on his bass playing.

He played in Good Morning Vietnam, City Slickers and was also the actor who played bass in That Thing You Do.

I read in a bass magazine that he actually saw a teacher to learn the parts for bass and was able to play his own parts by the time the movie was filmed.

He wanted to play bass after the movie but his schedule didn't allow it.
