Just bought two Italia straps and just wanted to know if they are as comfortable as many say?

Comfort is somewhat subjective but they use beautiful leather that softens up very nicely and they are a nice wide strap (I got the 4”). For me soft, wide & leather makes for a very comfortable strap.

Yeah me too. I have used straps in the past though that I thought were good leather straps that were alot more expensive but the wear was terrible. Just wanted to make sure these weren't hard and put to much abuse on your shoulder. I got the 4 inch as well. So like you said that should make a difference. Italia has a buy one get one free going on that ends today. So anybody who wants to take advantage of that deal, today is the last day.

Some version of that sale is usually available, and the straps are definitely worth the price!

They seem to keep renewing that 2 for 1 deal lately. Let us know what you think of them when they arrive. I’ve only had mine a couple of months but I’ve been very impressed with them.

These straps are like shoes. The more you wear them, the softer and more comfortable they are. They don't do well just sitting around. But well used, they are awesome.

Did it take a while for you to get them back when you ordered them?

Itallia makes excellent straps. I have been using them for a couple of years now. They will even make you a custom 5 inch wide strap (I have 2) if you ask them. For the money, IMHO they are the best around. I also have 2 of their 4 inch wide straps and they are nice The 2 for one deal makes them a no brainer for me

I have two as well, and Superiorpinr is corret. The more you wear them, the better they get. Out of the box, they're a little rigid, and stiff, IMO.

About two weeks from the time of ordering to delivery, in my case. Note that Italia is about a three hour drive from here tho, so delivery times are going to be longer the further away from Cen Cal you are.

Weird...mine weren't. Straight out of the pkg, each was more supple than my 3 year old, used daily Levy's was.

+1. I have 2 that I've been using for about 1-1/2 yr. Very comfortable and they wear well.

So they make them as you order them? I'm guessing that's the only thing that would warrant a two week wait on straps.

Yeah, you order them and then they make it. I have a 4 inch one for my basses and a 2 1/2 inch one for my guitars and they are both great.

Best straps around. Great price. And they have always made custom lengths for me without charging extra.

Love Italias. The way they conform to my body is great, and the suede grips my shoulder just enough. I have some Levy's straps that are fancier looking with leather on both sides, but they slide too much and don't mold to my body the way the Italias do.

I have a couple 4" straps as well. They're great, with one issue: they're so thick it's almost impossible to get the dunlop strap locks on them. I finally got them installed with lots of pressure. I don't think they'll ever come off.
