Many of you know I have switched from Bass to guitar. I have bought my first new one in many years...here's some eye candy.

I knew what I was getting but, when I opened the case for the first time: I was blown away!

I was gratified that the shipping box was taped (just once), as was the box (that housed the case) which means that NO ONE else has touched or played this guitar since it left the factory.

The fit & finish are flawless. I was concerned because some folks where saying that QC problems have their moments at Ibanez...but like I said. I was blown away...knocked out and my palms got all sweaty and I was nervous and I am really happy right now.

Yeah, I still got the P-Bass and it ain't for sale!

After a few hours of playing on it and tweakin' the various knobs for tone & stretching the strings a bit I declare this guitar a decent addition to my portfolio.

Actually, it is really really nice for an out of the box guitar.

Next on the list: A Fender Telecaster Custom '62 re-issue.

Then I can turn off the GAS for electric guitars.

It was bought with 'gig-money'. It took about half a year, I accquired my P-Bass the same way.

Like I said, I am playin' guitar these days...but I love my P-Bass. Every now & then, our bassist goes outta town and I get to play for a gig so it's good to keep it around.

I like the binding and the rosewood board of the '62.

It goes to the Stax & Volt tones running through my blood.
