Without going into all the gory details, I'll just say that the current economy is kicking my butt. I was so close to pawning my bass yesterday that I unplugged it, took off the strap, and was almost out the door with it when I stopped, looked at it, and put it back on its stand. I couldn't do it. I never thought that I'd rather be broke than give up my bass, but it must be love... |

I've already been shopping around for a better amp...the waiting is killing me! The bass isn't bad for an Affinity, but my little practice amp sucks. I got to play through a decent rig a while back and what a difference! It's pure hell to have GAS and no money... |

I'd rather make sure I have things like electricity, water, gas in the car, and other necessities in life, more than an extra bass laying around. YMMV. Fortunately, I've got 2 others I can play.

I don't have but the one, though, and I'd feel funny playing air bass for a week or so... |

Now, almost four years later, I have 9 basses-along with other gear, and broke all the time, but can't seem to sell any of them. I just can't! Maybe in a few years, but not right now. Not ready. It's like an addiction. Can't give any of em up!
