Dear TB community,

I'm writing this note because I need to vent, that is all. Thankfully there is a community of people like TB that is there to listen...

MY CHOPS ARE IN THE TOILET! I barely have time to practice and my life is becoming...well, mostly work (and beliueve me, when not in the lab or reading, I'm just plain tired). I guess it is OK, since I have to get my PhD soon and be looking for jobs, but man how I miss playing the bass!. I hope I can get my schedule in order again and fit in some practice hours. It is truly frustrating to see how I'm loosing my abilities on the bass (and is truly frustrating to acknowledge that I've done so...)

Anyways, thanks for reading and giving me this little space to vent about it.

Diego

studying for your PhD is a good reason to skip practice

At least you're doing something productive instead of watching TV or browsing the internet

So, let me understand this, you're only good at bass when you're in the crapper?

Dont worry about it. Bass is like bicycle, you'll be back up to speed in no time.
