I've heard good things about SX basses but what about their guitars?

My wife has been picking up guitar again, (she used to play when younger), and would like to get an inexpensive electric guitar.

Do they have as good of a rep as the basses?

Sx guitars are decent but the Agile ones are quite outstanding.

I'd like to buy an Agile and toss on a fretless neck, but it's too much cost to justify for a toy, 'cause frankly, a fretless guitar isn't going to be outstandingly useful to me.

I was going to get the SX Tele copy, but I'm not getting it anymore -- not because I don't want it, but in a choice between getting it as a birthday present, or a Yorkville XS400 combo as a birthday/christmas present with $280 of my own cash, I'm choosing the Yorkville. There are a lot of reviews of the SX Telecaster on www.harmony-central.com/Guitar and one of the fellows on http://guitar.zentao.com/forum/ owns on. Brendo13, I think.
