I'm still waiting for the first White Stripes song that is played in time enough to even cause me to tap my foot. What a couple of wankers! I appreciate their energy, but talk about no groove AT ALL.

What a joke. They should have yelled back 'play something in time and we will dance and jump around'. God help us all

Seems like they need a bassist afterall, hit the road Jack, an octave pedal is no replacement.

Jack should just shut up. He's one of them at this point.

Lol. Too bad Venezuela already won the Trollface of the year award with the Hand of Dios, otherwise Jack would get it.

I actually like the music. It's different - I'm tired of "groove". There hasn't been a good new "groove" in over a decade. As for Jack, rock needs outrageous personalities. A little more modesty would go a long way, but for a bunch of B-list celebrities acting like they're too cool for school and flashing nonchalant looks of boredom and disdain...I could see Jack blowing up like that.

This show wasn't a white stripes show. It's the Dead Weather, a really groovy dark, simplified sound. It has a bassist, Jack Lawrence (phenomenal) as well as a stellar female vocalist (Allison Mosshart) from the Kills. The band slays live. There is plenty of rocking out to be done to their music.

LOL You tell those jerkoffs what's what, Jack!!

I guess he gets used to playing big shows with people dying to get an inch closer to him and the band at all costs...it's different when its a crowd of people who aren't necessarily die-hard fans. You learn that pretty quick when you tour with others bands, maybe he's forgotten what those days were like =/

Aaaw...was Jackie feeling a little under appreciated? Poor thing.
"My whopping paycheck from you wankers isn't enough! I want to feel special and important! I need for you to rock out to my noise so I can feel validated."

Guess ol' Jack frogot what it's like to play a gig (as opposed to a concert).
Yeah, Jack, sometimes you're just background music for people. Get over yourself.

Jack's music is an insult to anyone who hears it.

A tat more of bad a** attitude is necessary for rock 'n' roll, baby.
If you like the White Stripes, check out Black Box Revelation, a Belgian band that brings dirty blues with only a guitar and drums ... and I have no affiliation with them, except being Belgian and digging them

Haha... reminds me, my band grooves harder if fewer people pay attention. Which is kinda funny, makes you want to play those 'background music' gigs more often. Pay is good, you play better. Unless you're an attention whore like Jack seems to be, haha

Meh. I think they are HIGHLY overrated. And not just for the lack of a bassist, although I wouldn't expect that particular aspect to go down well on this website, LOL.

Sounds no different to me than all those bands asking for people to come up and mosh or stand in the front...
