It's actually an easy song.
The hardest part about Teen Town is the technique and dexterity you need.
Your left hand will be playing EVERYWHERE on the neck, and there's string skipping galore.

The way I learned it, was sat down with the notes and practiced the string skipping parts Over and over. Work with the hardest things first, like the intro.
Eventually, if you do it properly, and learn the right technique, your fingers will just do it.

I got teen town. My bass teacher drilled that song into me. The only problem I ran into was the first bar octave. I just couldnt get it clean enough. After playing that intro over and over again, I got it.

The key to nailing this is to listen to it and get the melody in your head. Its fun to play.

Personally I find A LOT of teen town is in the right hand technique. As far as left hand stretching/gymnastics its pretty ok. However the instense string bouncing and amazing co-ordination on the right hand is a definite killer.

However, I do think the first two phrases are the hardest in the song.
