James Carr

I couldn't find any previous thread about this guy, so I started a new one.

James Carr was incredible soul singer from the 60's that sadly fell under the radar (apparently due to mental health issues that prevented him from touring). I only discovered him a few months ago and now I can't get enough. In my opinion his voice rivals that of Otis Redding, absolutely incredible.

Check him out:

His songs were recorded at GoldWax studios which would make Tommy Cogbill the bass player (I think).
