I wouldn't want to be in there during one of their 7.0 earthquakes! All those guitars swinging into each other would not be good! Can you say overstocked?

I went to a few shops when I was in Tokyo and I had to be talked down. I would have made a few purchases if my wife didn't snatch the credit card out my hand.

They're definitely bass obsessed! Wish I could get Bass Magazine (JP) here. Can't read Kanji but great transcriptions.
I can remember checking out great basses by Tune in Switzerland at the Montreaux at Musique Colchique under the Casino. Great basses that were ahead of all but the best custom builders in 1989.

I was there last October, I had only one free day to roam Tokyo, so I went to that one street where there are like 10 different music stores (I recognize some shops )

Unfortunately the yen was too strong, so it was not a good time to buy. But they really had some sweet Japan boutique builds!
