Hi there, I was wondering if anyone here knew of any good websites or DVDs which taught jazz guitar.

I'd recommend the Jimmy Bruno Guitar Institute. It's $60 for three months but well worth it.

Very common sense.

www.carolkaye.com - Very straightforward Chordal jazz method.

Also there is an active thread right now on people using Ed Friedland's Building Walking Basslines Book.

Maybe in a few years - at the moment, I'm poor even by uni student standards...

Though by searching his name I found he's done a few DVDs for Hot Licks, which has released some pretty good instructional material in the past.

His current stuff takes his older material up a level. IMHO, in three months (which would be $60), you could get enough material to keep you busy for quite a while.
