Out of 13 the performances I've seen by Beck and his Bands since 1968, this one clearly stood out above the rest as my favorite

...He went back and forth between quieter songs with his voice-like guitar playing bringing the audience to powerful swells, swoons and even tears(ie, Nissen Dorma, A Day in the Life etc)...and then the band would play with such perfectly controlled fury with Beck's guitar soaring above all the commotion with the most scorching of tones (ie, Hammerhead, Rollin and Tumblin). The sound was perfect...better than hearing the CD with Earphones on...It was so exciting that the crowd jumped up and stood ON thier seats from the first song thru the last one ...I never saw anyone sit back down. Bravo Jeff Beck!! This was the Last of his American tour dates except for Crossroads! He will still be playing a few more dates in Europe if you're lucky evough to see him there...Peace...DAcat
