Jeff Berlin added to Burton Guitar Festival lineup

Just found out Jeff Berlin has been added to the lineup of artists for the upcoming James Burton International Guitar Festival scheduled for August 21st-24th in Shreveport, LA. There are always a ton of great guitarists, but this year some great bassists will be there.

I understand that Phil Chen may also be added to the bill.

For any TBers who might might have the opportunity, the Burton Fesitival is a wonderful event. Last year's highlights (for me, anyway) included Monte Montgomery, Lee Roy Parnell, and for sentimental reasons, Rick Derringer and Ed King. (Dickie Betts was there, but unfortunately was too ****** up to hold his guitar. It was sort of sad to see Lee Roy trying to cover for him.) Steven Seagal even had a band there. He can't play a lick, but he had enough money to put together a band that was phenomenal.

The venue is the home of the old Lousiana Hayride, one of the cradles of rock and roll.
