What a shame---I still think his lead breaks on "As My Guitar Gently Weeps" were the best versions I've heard. All of his guitar work was sheer pleasure to listen to.

Totally agree. I love his version of that song. He was a huge influence on me and so many others. He will be missed.

I am stunned and without words. What a huge loss.

RIP.

Talented man, and a very big loss. He was a Toronto fixture in the music scene- owning his own live music club, and also doing a radio show here in addition to his contribution as a musician.

The YouTube of him appearing with Marcus Miller and Omar Hakim on the infamous late night music show out of New York ( I forget the name) is well worth checking out!

I remember hearing his band's cover of "Confidence Man" for the first time and it just blew my mind. Scary to think in this day and age we can still die at the young age of 41.

He fought his battle with cancer like a true warrior. The world of music has lost a great musician, but heaven has gained one hell of a guitarist. May you finally see the light. You will be missed.
