He's the guy who used to play with Joe Walsh, right?

Traffic is what I know him most for... He's played with Steve Winwood and Dave Mason on and off over the years.

one of my favorite yearly influences in bass/drum unity.

That sucks man, Traffic rocked. Didn't he help write Low Spark w/ Winwood?

Dear Mr Fantasy, Play Us a Tune
Something to make us all happy.
Do anything to take us out of this gloom
Sing a song, play guitar, make it snappy
You are the one who can make us all laugh
But in doing that, you break out in tears
Please don't be sad if it was a straight mind you had
We wouldn't have known you all these years

RIP Jim Capaldi

Hidden Treasure
(Winwood/Capaldi)

Take a walk down by, take a walk down by the river
There's a lot that you, there's a lot that you can learn
If you've got a mind that's open, if you've got a heart that yearns

If you listen to, if you listen to the water
You will hear the sound, you will hear the sound of life
There's a million different voices, there is happiness and strife

Message in the deep, from a strange eternal sleep
That is waiting there, that is waiting there for you
Like hidden treasure

I'm Crushed!

Traffic was so cutting edge. I'm crushed! It's so odd because one of the radio stations was playing Dear Mr. Fantasy today. So odd to hear it.
