so this sunday i'm acting as a sub for my bass teacher. i'm playing a youth service at a church and i'm earning $90
and that got me thinking...what other small time gigs could i get? i'm not new to gigging or getting paid, but i was part of a band when i was doing that. my first thought was to call all the churches in my local area and see if any hire contemporary bands like the church i'm playing at this weekend.
i'm 17, and i'm not looking for a steady job playing bass, but it would be cool to bring in some money on the side, especially on weekends when i'm not doing anything. any suggestions guys?
