Aargh, they'd better come to Zürich. I still haven't seen them and don't want to miss out...

I'm figuring they'll come through Phoenix, since Halford has a home here in Scottsdale.

But I ended up missing Iron Maiden here last June, and I won't be surprised if the usual stuff prevents me from catching Priest.

Saw 'em in about 1978, and they were totally great. Next tour (NWOBHM period) they sucked so badly I couldn't even believe it was the same band.

It was my first and probably most memorable example of a band changing from playing music they'd sweated creative blood over to following a (mainly image driven) formula, just to meet some pretty crass expectations of the crowd and a record label. Still leaves a nasty taste even 30+ years later. Ugh.

I can imagine, but you should see them now days. They put an amazing show! Also, their sound is always top notch. Every instrument comes through clearly and sounds amazing. Im definitely gonna go see them one last time.

I've seen quite a few bands on their "last tour ever" that did "just one more tour" a year or so later. Mind you, Priest are getting on a bit nowadays so this could be real.

If you enjoy it, then that is the ONLY thing that matters. Have fun!
