Byah! I'm pumped, I'll be seeing them August 3rd in Mansfield, MA. I've been a fan for some time now always thought they were one of those older bands that I'd never get to see

I hear they found him based on some YouTube clips of him singing Boston songs and a karaoke appearance. Wonder if he'll have what it takes to sing it all nite, every nite...he's not a pro singer, i.e.- not a well-known frontman.
Anyway, you'll have to post a review of the show after you've seen them. |

1. Geeky engineer forms band
2. Band gets successful, gets record deal
3. Band goes platinum
4. Record company tries to force band to crank out albums before band feels ready
5. Geeky engineer and band say "no, we're gonna take our time and do this right"
6. Record company says "fine, we'll withold your royalties to make you put out the albums we want now or you'll starve"
7. Geeky engineer says "whatever", invents the Rockman and develops a very successful income stream...
8. Geeky engineer and band release records when they feel ready...
That's pretty cool.

It's the ideas those products represent.

Anyway, you'll have to post a review of the show after you've seen them. | I'll certainly let you know how he turns out. I actually haven't looked into the new vocalist's situation, it's good to have a little background.
And a good looking blonde bass player? I'm intrigued I'll give a review there, too! Aside from all the obvious songs I would want to hear (every track of their first album, to start...), as long as they play Feelin' Satisfied, I'll be.... nah, it's too easy: I'll be happy |

I saw Boston in '03, and it was an awesome show. I am honored that I got to see them with Brad Delp. RIP to the man with an absolutely amazing voice, and genuine personality.
Unlike others on here (who's opinions I certainly respect), I think Tom Sholz is an arrogant, spotlight stealing prick who cares about little other than himself. I read nothing into his "sorrow" after Brad's death other than another excuse to yap.

Don't expect harmonies like that unless they are tracked.
