JUST GOT BACK FROM BLACK SABBATH!

Went to Fresno tonight...

I saw Queensrych, Alice Cooper... and Black Sabbath.

Queen was kinda lame.

Alice Cooper stole the show... He slapped some lady to the beat of the music.... then slit her throat.... then stole her baby.... then impaled the baby. Then put himself in a straight jacket and hung himself.

Black Sabbath was automatically cool because it was black sabbath... BUT!

Dio era Sabbath is just no where near as good as Ozzy era Sabbath. Still cool to see, though.

Sabbath was having Vinny Appice play drums.... But there original drummer, Bill Ward, was there hanging out by the sound boards. 10 feet away from me... I got his autograph and stuff. All I said to him was "I love you." And he said he loved me too. I think we are dating now.

Rock on.

I disagree! I can't stand Ozzy's voice, but I love Dio's.

Dio does have a better voice.

But Sabbath rocked way harder with Ozzy... Dio era Sabbath is a totally different band to me.

I reallly dig Black Sabbath and I'm glad you got to see (at least) part of the original lineup. Really, Alice Cooper is some kinda talented. I've seen Sabbath and Alice Cooper...The only comment about Alice Cooper is that the theatrical stuff get's a little corny and over the top.

When I saw Sabbath with Ozzy, they had an unknown little band called "Van Halen" opening for them. VERY bad idea. After hearing Van Halen, Sabbath just seemed slow and sluggish. It was really unfair to the audience to ruin our Sabbath experience like this.

Vintage Black Sabbath is all about the music. The vocals are secondary.

And what about the one Black Sabbath album with Ian Gillian? (Born Again)

Ian is a better singer than Dio or Ozzy could ever hope to be, but you never hear about that album.
