Just got paid today - what to buy?

Hey guys,

I sold my books back to the school today and made $150 which isn`t half bad for only selling back 3 books that I bought used!

Anyways, I feel like throwing caution to the wind and getting something for fun and I wanted to hear some suggestions people might have. I`m really open to anything - cheap guitars, effects pedals, used gear, cool nick-nacks, etc...

So yeah, if you had $150 to spend what would you get?

p.s I`ve kinda had my eyes on the Rogue Beatle Bass, so if anyone knows anyone who`s selling one let me know

Edit

Just for reference my current effects are:

EHX Bass Muff Pi
Korg Pitchblack
MXR M288 Bass Octave Deluxe
Small Stone Nano
EHX Memory Boy

If you have to buy something though I hear good things about SX basses. Maybe some sort of pedal?

More books for next semester. Of if you graduated, you'll need the money for something or another anyway.

I bought a used SX Vintage Classic and I am AMAZED at how good this bass is for the money. Well worth the coin man, WELL worth it.

Blow 1/3 on something fun, put 1/3 in your retirement account, put the other 1/3 in your emergency fund.

That`s the thing, my books are payed for by the school so I`m essentially making money whenever I sell them back.

$150 isn't enough to have *big* fun with... You're stuck with a pedal, methinks - and not a great one. Maybe you can add a few $$ and get a used EH BMS...?

Yeah... I need to start that when I turn 20 next year - $5,000 a year for 7 years and then I can basically just sit on the interest return I`ll be seeing till I hit 65.

reading back through the thread..

Give the money to your parents (if they initially bought your books).

Again, the school pays for my books. Besides, my mom has told me to do whatever I want with it.

Well I don't think you'll find a bass for $150. Maybe a used one. I'd buy an OZ, but that's me.
