I tried a Stagg electric guitar once. It was without a doubt the worst instrument I have ever laid my hands on. Just horrible.

I got a 12 pack of Stagg 5A's when I bought my drumkit and used them for about a week until they were all broken. And I'm not a heavy hitter. I switched to Zildjian sticks and haven't broken one since.

I'm inclined to agree.

But come to think of it I don't think I have ever had pre-made chili that I liked.

Wendy's aside.

a local guitar shop carries stagg and i don't think they are that bad, but don't go comparing them to 2000 dollar basses--decent beginner basses though.

Where I live a chain came in and bought out all the private guys, so now I live in a billy hydes town! (our equivalent of your GC) they basically only stock that stagg stuff, you might get lucky and sometimes score a ludicrously priced spector that is basically the town bicycle but they still call it new. yeah ive been dissapointed with the stagg stuff, but isnt all the jazz in that price range from the same factory!?

Stagg drums are garbage at any price. Yes, I have played various models at various stores; my opinion did not vary in any of those instances. Garbage. And, yes, it comes from the exact same Chinese factories as a lot of other "bargain brands", just with a "Stagg" logo tacked on.
