Made my afternoon. Sorry, but I can't stand this kid. First it was Hannah Montana/Miley Cirus time whenever I went into a Wal-Mart near me... now it's Justin Beiber world. Argh....

Hmm... I wonder if any of 16-year-old Justin Bieber's detractors have equalled what he has accomplished--thus far:

- having hit recordings for sale on iTunes
- having hits on Billboard's top 40
- having writing, or co-writing credits on every cut of their latest album
- having made an on-stage appearance at the Grammys
- having hosted Saturday Night Live

'Thought so...

naw, they did better. They were able to use his videos to increase the consumption of porn through hacking the links. They also scheduled him for a tour of North Korea. Once he goes to North Korea, the koreans there will begin watching his videos, which are now porn. The net result? NORTH KOREA NOW HAS PORN!

And here's where we need to define 'accomplishment'. We should also determine how much of that 'accomplishment' is due to his work and talent, and how much of it is due to that popular favorite "Payola".

I forgot which rule established equal or greater "accomplishments" as a requisite for an opinion. Anyone care to remind me?

Couldn't really care about accomplishments myself.

Accomplishments ≠ Effort or Talent

Well, at least not all the time.
