well i just saw kaki king perform at a local restaraunt and all i gotta say is WOW....she's the first person ive seen since steve vai and she absolutely floored me...was amazing

if you ever get the chance check her out...

She's a cool player, but I can't listen to her stuff for long, Preston Reed on the other hand got me through some long car trips.

Absolutely fantastic player. With all the voices she can get from her instrument, she is definitely in my top 3 of favorite musicians. It also helps that she's not unattractive and funny that her guitar is almost as big as she is!

she did some awesome stuff with her lap slide guitar thing and boss loop pedal...

playing with pink noise was just incredible to see live

f**k yeah, this chick rocks! She just put out a new album too. Its a bit different from her earlier stuff. She sings on this one and its with a whole band.

i saw her on letterman last year and jumped on amazon straight after to order her stuff. i really admire what she is doing but i too cant listen to it for extended periods of time.

doing the wrong thing and neanderthal are definately favorites of mine off legs.

i cant remember the name of the other album i have but there is a hidden track at the end where she sings a melody, then meows it..... gets me everytime. great listening.

Question

ahhhh..... everybody loves you. thats the one. im amazed that it has only just been released in australia. ive had it for atleast a year. (possibly i was the first in australia to get a copy???) and im quite annoyed she isnt coming to perth to do a show....... bloody perth.
