 karaoke setup?

Does anyone know about karaoke setups? I've got a PA, a video projector for lyrics, and a laptop. I've even got a cd+g player for the discs but it seems like nowadays all the karaoke jocks run the show off of a computer. So I guess I'm just asking about the software and files. Where do I get them? Any way to get them cheap or free?
