Olivia... but it's close for me musically.

I did have a major crush on Olivia circa 1980

Go Greased lightning! Oliva in black spandex was all it was about back in Jr. high. We didn't care if she could sing or not.

Absolutely the best 'white-girl' singer! And a very good drummer, too.

I vote Karen over Olivia.
The "best" white girl singer? Dunno about that...Janis, Lydia Pense, Carole King, Joan Osbourne, etc.

These broads only WISH they could be Dusty Springfield.

But, on topic, Karen was the real thing.

For what? Karen's voice makes me melt. She was an excellent drummer and had girl-next-door good looks.

Olivia was hot.

Puleeze. Comparing Karen to Olivia is like comparing Brian Wilson to Bobby Sherman.

I'd have to move to Cheryl Crow back in the early days when she sang and played bass. After all, this is the TalkBass sight.

Karen all the way. Had me a big "voice crush" on Karen for the longest time! Plus she played the skins as everyone has mentioned - how cool is that?
