Ok, so it's almost certain that this guitar will come into my hands, I just wanted to share this with you.
I was hanging with some of my buds just driving around, and one of them we suggested stopping by some sketchy person's house (I was unaware until afterwards

), so we did. When we arrived, my guitarist went straight for this little beat up guitar in the corner. When I say beat up, I mean, half the tobacco burst finish ripped off, only 4 strings, rusty tuners, etc... So we have a look at it, and it seems to be a genuine Kay from I guess the 40's or 50's. It was a hollowbody with two knobs and a rosewood fingerboard. I said "Where'd you get this thing", and they said that a friend just gave it to them one day. I asked if they were willing to sell, and they said yeah, sure, how much. I was running low on cash that day, so I said 50 bucks in a week or two when I get my paycheck. They said yeah sure, and then we left. Sorry about the lacking of pictures, but I'll see what I can do when I pick it up in a few days. What do you guys think about the price though? Is it pretty low for an old guitar like that, even if it is a long way from mint?
Thanks!
