Keyboard & Drum Forums Comparable to TalkBass?

Sign in to disble this ad
Greetings, all. Love this forum...if anything, there may be too much content, members, and it's hard to keep up, esp. if you don't login for a couple of days.

Does anyone know of other forums of similar quality geared towards drums? Ditto for keyboards? I dabble in both, and haven't found online sites that come close to what's offered here.

Any links or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. If you don't know, can you ask your drummer or keyboardist what sites they prefer? Thanks kindly in advance.

Thanks, FunkyMan, but that seems to be more of a shop's website, unless I missed a forum section. Looking something more like what we have here in TalkBass, but drum oriented.

Anyone have others? Other keyboard-oriented sites?

thank you for asking this, I've been meaning to post a thread about drum forums too. several seem to come up when I do a search, but it would take me a while to figure out which one's the "best." help!

I used to frequent the UseNet/Newsgroup rec.music-makers.percussion or some such. It's been years, and I can't remember the last time I was on anything in newsgroups. Which is why I'm looking for new options.

I mean, we're webnerds and musicians, right? (I mean that in the best possible way). And we presumably hang out with other webnerd/musicians, either in real life or online. So there have to be similar sites that friends/siblings/peers/colleagues/associates/etc. have found and frequent.

But like you said, I don't want to wade through umpteen crap sites that Google spits out.
