KISS finally gets nominated after over 10 years of eligibility and they don't get voted in! ABBA does! What a sham. I call false advertising! It is not the ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame anymore.

Not POP, not RAP, Not Reggae, Not FOLK, ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC!
They need to rename it the POP music Hall of Fame! Then someone can open a REAL ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame. It could have bands like KISS, Deep Purple, Rush, Yes, The Moody Blues, Alice Cooper, Bad Company, Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, The Cars, Pat Benetar, Cheap Trick, Def Leppard, Heart, Boston, Bon Jovi, Foreigner, Chicago, Scorpions, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Styx.
Now that is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame! The problem is, NONE OF THESE ARE IN THE ACTUAL ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME!!! But don't worry, Madonna, ABBA, Joni Mitchell, Grandmaster Flash, and Run DMC are in. Don't get me wrong, these people deserve to be in A Hall of Fame, just not the ROCK AND ROLL Hall of Fame.

I agree, it's a sham. As long as the RRHOF is run by the existing (Rolling Stone) regime, it's never going to be what it's supposed to be. Too political, IMO. |
