Last night, I handed my little sister my guitar...

She sets it on her lap, takes the pick, and starts fiddling around.

She is musically retarded. She doesn't know the difference between a quarter note and a rest.

I was watching her, trying to teach her "american idiot" with just roots (She is on a greenday kick, so why not teach her something she'll recognize?)

She has natural GREAT technique I was amazed...

She shows some interest in learning drums, and a little guitar... Should I nurture this as much as I can? I want to get her into lessons, I think she would pick up really quickly...

If by technique you mean rhythm, then she is a sureshot at drums.

haha terrible joke

Yes nurture it.
Encorage her to listen to good music and if she wants to be a drummer, listen hard to the drum parts.

let her listen to some rush so she'll instantly give up on ever being able to properly play and instrument.

Take the guitar from her hands and smash it over her head.

I wont help any, but it'll be cool.
