Learning Guitar

Hey Guys,

Have a question. I know this is a bass forum, but I know a lot of you are multi-instrument musicians.

I have been playing music since I was four. Piano lessons til I was 12 and playing bass up to now when I'm 26. So, I have a pretty good grasp of music theory.

I'm wanting to pick up guitar. Basically I need to learn the chords and where to play them as related to what I play on the bass. What would be the easiest way to learn. Just do it? Or are there resources that could help me from the level I'm at right now.

Thanks,
Ryan

Get a guitar chord chart and start practicing chord forms and switching from say an Am to a C and then to F and G. Stuff like that is what songs are made of. Thats what I did when I first started to learn how to play guitar. Check out Youtube videos too. There are a ton of beginner lessons.
