Learning Piano/Organ/Synth as a rock bassist.

Hey guys.

I'd like to learn some piano. Well, I picked up an organ for free of the side of the road... An old Gulbransen from the 50s with tubes in it . So I'd like to learn organ... don't know if there is any difference.

I'm a rock player. I love the sound of an old Hammond. I also have to learn some piano since I'm doing music at a university; why not make it fun? Any tips for a beginner who would like to play rock on piano? Is there a difference in piano and organ playing? Are there many rock charts out there (older rock n roll) that have sheet music? Will learning rock stuff hurt my piano skills for school?

Thanks in advance!
