led lights and cabinets

how do the different led lights on an amp have an effect on playin...in one form i read that you should look for blue led lights...i dont understand!!! please inform me....i would also like to know what would be better to get w/ a behringer Ultrabass 3000t head....a 1x15 cab....or a 2x10 cab....is there a sound difference...if it means anything i play a 5 string bass

The color of the light has nothing to do with anything aside from looks. As for what cab to get, neither is "better". It all depends on what you want. Your best bet is to play through both cabs, and then decide. Also, why limit yourself to just those two speaker configs? Play as many different configurations of speakers as you can then decide from there.

I play a 5 and you'll get more pronounced lows with the 1x15 and a punchier tone thru the 2x10. I slap and the 1x15 it sometimes sounds like mud, so I'm gonna upgrade to a 2x10 and a 4x10 rig from Avatar.

As kaboom has stated, don't limit yourself..try 'em all before you decide!!!

Blue means cool...

Red means "Stop! Don't waste your time with me, I'm red and obviously very lame."

Green means "Go! Play fast!"

Amber means... Amber Lynn was a hot porn star in the 80's.
