Yes its official.

Page , Plant, JPJ, and Jason Bonham are playing a gig on Nov 26th at the 02 Arena London. Only 20,000 tickets, by ballot only !

They're thinking of a tour depending on how well things go.

I agree

This is obviously a thread for people who like LZ, so what the hell you're both in this thread for is a mystery. Grow up and play elsewhere

Would be good if it did turn into a tour and they hit the US. I'm sure there's still plenty of LZ lovers over there.

I think ticket sales here will turn into a massive bun fight

I remember rumaging up a bunch of change in '77 to buy a LZ ticket. We had to get up real early to stand in line. I slept through the alarm clock and missed it

That must have been such a downer ! I managed to catch LZ live in '73 at the famous Alexandra Palace in North London.

If memory serves, LZ album House of the Holy ( or No. 5 depending on which is correct ) was just released at the time i saw them.

LZ were one of my all time top live gigs along with Frank Zappa, who i saw 4 years later in London, Hammersmith odeon

I'll admit I'm by no means the biggest Zep fan, and never one who was really impressed by the live footage of them I've heard, but if it came through LA and I could afford it, it would be an absolutely cool thing to see 'em.

Oldies shows kind of depress me, especially in the 'hard rock' category (i.e., bands that were all about kick ass and rebellion). I even get depressed when Bruce and the E-Street band tours... even though there is some new music, the emotion and what they were all about seems long gone.

Someone like James Taylor, who consistently is making new music, and also doesn't look the fool playing the type of music he does at his age is cool IMO.

The Who is the worst. At least the Stones continue to create new music and try to keep things somewhat fresh. Zep without Bonham... depressing.

I guess maybe if you are a kid and didn't experience the real thing the first time around, it might be cool.

I love Led Zepplin But I can't help think this will be a crap fest. I agree with the above, at least the stones are still credible, The Who are a joke. Its depressing.

If they came to NYC, I would love to see them. The same w/Pink Floyd.

The Who and the Stones. I could care less about. I never really likes either band in the 1st place

YES, YES, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! if they tour me and a few buddies are FOR SURE going!!!

I love ZEP!!

Also I notice the main ones complaining are the older guys who already lived in that era, maybe it's cause you had your chance to see them already so you think it's overdone but us younger guys who are fans never had a chance to see em' play live. I'm sure if they toured they would include Canada at least once!

I'm with yah Morf, LED ZEPPELIN live would rock, let the older guys complain who cares!

It's a shame Bonzo is no longer with us. But Jason Bonham is a pretty darn good substitute.

I remember seeing them at Madison Square Garden. Probably 1978 or so. I had crappy seats behind stage! But Plant kept running to our side every other song or so.

I remember that on one song, Bonzo came in late and Plant gave him the finger!

Led Zep rules and always has.
