Les Paul on eBay

Take a look at this auction on Ebay. Can you believe he hasn't gotten any bids yet?

:edit: I don't think people read this bit:

Now, these very guitars that were once avoided like the plague are skyrocketing in price. They were awful in the 1970's and they haven't gotten any better with age. If you believe you are hearing or feeling "vintage tone" from one of these, I would suggest you look into another hobby/pastime, or career. After seeing the prices paid on Ebay for 70's Les Paul Deluxe's and Custom's in the last few weeks, I'm buying every 70's Les Paul, Tele, and Strat I can get my hands on and selling at top dollar to anyone foolish enough to buy one. This 1976 Les Paul Custom is 13 lbs of shoulder wrecking dead wood with that signature harsh, razor thin pat # humbucker Norlin tone. Shipping will be high as well.

As the Seller has a "Zero" rating, I'm not altogether surprised that he has no bids, particularly on a potentially high ticket item like that.

Guys, don't make fun of the mentally ill. Anyone who would spend this much time and effort just to dis a guitar must have problems.

This is a true piece of editorial writing....what HAS been going on in the vintage gear market? Why have old Pauls, Strats, P-and J basses, etc. gone up so drastically in price? They didn't cost that much back in the day...

For that matter, why is any musical gear so expensive? I think the manufacturers have us by the short hairs....

Ya know?

The man knows what he's talking about. I hate Les Pauls. Heavy, uncomfortable, bulky neck, over priced, and not that great of a sound (there is much better out there for much less).

Don't worry. I've got different ones to put in. I'll do it.
