From the Thunderfunk Manual-
Les Paul rule.
Les Paul’s cardinal rule is this: point guitar speakers directly at the guitar player’s ear.
Between us bass players, everyone will be glad when that happens.

+1...I vote yeah. I think one angled so we can hear and one forward or downfiring is the way to go.

+1 depending on size of venue/whether there's PA re-inforcement etc, BUT as a general rule -THATS A WINNER! In Most pub gigs that'd be fine- I play GTR in a pub band too & I generally do this-well always, not generally! It's always loud enough for the audience & if not-there's a PA... stick a mic on the spkr & ......DUH!!!!!!!!!!! Should be a hard RULE!!!!

So that's the secret to the Thunderfunk sound. It's all in the positioning of the speakers. The guitarist's speakers, that is.

Les Paul rule applies unless there's the option of placing the guitar cab in an iso vault outside the venue
