| Around $2200.00 or so, given the Gibson dealers that all follow whatever m.a.p.s discount pricing deal they have with Gibson. I just tried a new cherryburst one at a local Gibby dealer, and with the now standard pleck fret job, and the way this one came off the line, it was one of the finest Pauls I've ever played as far as more recent ones go. If I was in the market for a new Les Paul I would have seriously bought that one, but my current gear needs and wants have me pulled in other directions. If you are on a budget and want something in the traditional Les Paul Standard flavor, some of the Epiphone Tribute Series Les Pauls are really sweet bang for the buck instruments. Most of them have decent U.S. pickups and pots, switch, and better quality caps. Epiphone is supposedly coming out with an Epi version of the Burstbucker pickups in the very near future for the Tribute line, but for now they do have the U.S.goodies installed.
