As a graphic designer by trade, I say, nice job.

I really need to get one made up...one side for music, the other for graphic design. Where do you print yours?

Kinkos, usually. Nothing fancy.

Thanks for your kind words. Now you've got me thinking about putting something on the back...

I haven't had this printed yet, but I created it from my avatar.

You really don't need much. Stedtale got it right, except for the pants thing.

Having cards is key if you're looking to pick up gigs. I'm always handing them out to other musicians I meet. I have actually got with them.

I've always toyed with the idea of a business card, but I'd feel like a cocky ass handing them out.

You get used to it

Also - with bluetooth and your phone you can send everyone at the gig your contact card. "w00t!"

I was gonna get a bunch of cocktail napkins printed up with my "handwritten" name, number, and email address...they seemed to be the "universal musician's business card"! I counted once how many I had, in the space of a year I had amassed some 200+ napkins. Some more legible than others, of course...

I've had a bunch. This is the current one.
I seem to be going through a minimalist period.

Now that you guys got me thinking, I made a back for my card as well. It's pretty dark on screen, but I think it will look ok once printed.

By the way, that's an Aramaic "B".

one of the things that keeps someones business card in my wallet and not in a dresser drawer is the ability to use it as a scrap piece of paper in a pinch.

You may want to write dates of availability...fee structure...someone elses phone number...who knows what on the back to either keep for yourself or give out.

Something to think about before you limit that option.
