Did anyone see Jauquo III-X's letter in the latest BP? I've always respected him as a player, but his letter gave me new respect for him as a person. Well written letter and I appreciated his perspective.

I'm just a very real and down to earth person and I'm not at all ashamed of where I've been, because it helps me have a better understanding of myself and of my future. I just wanted the musicians who are locked up to know that there are some musicians out here who really do feel and understand their situation. I have been in their shoes and I fully understand and it's not the end of the world no matter how deep in the darkest hole they may find themselves.
The first issue of BP magazine came out while I was incarcerated and I had a copy of it as well as a subscription.
A lot of the things that I'm doing now believe it or not, I worked on while I was in prison and continue to do so to this very day. |

Not many folks would offer that sort of info about themselves! I don't even want to know what you were in for! It doesn't matter to me! You're character speaks for itself! It's a shame many of those who are incarcerated most likely never had an outlet to occupy their time and possibly keep them off the street! |

This is from a best selling book that came out some years ago, where individuals talked about aspects of experiences they've had in life and here is my contribution to the book. http://jauqoiii-x.com/JK_pages/JK_press_009.html |

Thanks again |
